During a discussion on the live room's layout, we realized that any ceiling-mounted hardware (shelving supports, track lighting, acoustic curtains, etc.) would want to hit wood instead of drywall and soundboard. I determined where the support was necessary and installed 32 two-foot (approx.) blocks between the rafters with brackets & nails.
