The side door to the garage was set too low to clear the new floor, so it had to be reset higher in the wall. Luckily, the header above was made of a 2x6 header, THEN a 2x4 stud below it. After freeing the door & jamb from the rough opening, I sawed out the 2x4 and pushed the door assembly back in. I jammed a piece of pressure-treated 2x4 underneath to act as the new sill, then shimmed it all out and fastened it back to the garage.
