The double-walled control room window opening has accreted a half-dozen layers of insulation, soundboard, MDF spacer & drywall, all (more or less) flush with the original framed opening. Today we installed plywood sheathing aver the 13-inch opening sides, which will hold the finish pieces of the window frame.
